About this course
Journalism didn't die. It just stopped living in one newsroom and moved into everyone's pocket, including yours.
In three sharp chapters, we break down what journalism actually is once you strip away the noise, why India's press freedom ranking should worry you more than it does, and what happens when AI starts writing the record before a human ever checks it.
This isn't textbook theory. It's real cases, real numbers, and real stakes, built for anyone who reports, publishes, or just refuses to be fooled by what shows up on their feed.
By the end, you won't just understand journalism. You'll understand your role in protecting it.
What you will learn
- The one question every journalist should be able to answer, and most can't.
- Why "social journalism" isn't a buzzword, it's already rewriting who gets to report.
- The number behind India's press freedom ranking that most people have never actually seen.
- What happens the moment AI starts reading your story before a human does.
- The quiet mistake that's already teaching AI to repeat lies as facts.
- One habit that decides whether your work survives the next 10 years of journalism, or disappears with it.
